Spent four years managing the official Facebook & Twitter accounts for the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (DG MARE). Overall aim was to use social media to help Europe work towards sustainable fisheries, healthy seas & thriving coastal communities.



  • Successfully grew the Facebook community from 20,000 to 100,000 followers.
  • 19 million organic tweet impressions between April 2015 and September 2017
  • Over 511,000 video views on Facebook and YouTube under my management
